Matt Carns' birth certificate reads Matthew Joseph Carns, and he was born on November 3rd, 1976 in a Birmingham, Alabama hospital. He studied History and Business Management at both the University of Alabama and the University of Alaska. His early start in the realm of business speaks to the effectiveness of the Business Management programs he went through. He started his first business when he was just twenty-one years old, in 1997.

That first company was Maddox Transport, a trucking company headquartered in Wasilla, Alaska. Maddox Transport began conducting business with just one moving van to move the materials and a limited clientele. However, Maddox Transport continued to grow at a rapid rate and would eventually utilize five freightliners that shipped all over Alaska. These freightliners afforded Maddox Transport the ability to expand their client base, and their ability to transport larger quantities of goods. The small fleet of freightliners gave Maddox Transport the ability to deliver goods from all over the Pacific Rim, especially from Vancouver and Seattle.

Carns sold Maddox Transport in 2001 and moved on to more profitable pursuits. He moved to Denver, where he was offered the honor of being hired as Med1Online's first sales manager. This brief detour into the medical equipment industry turned out to be anything but brief. In 2004 Carns started his own medical equipment business. It was called Trinity Medical Solutions, and it only employed one person, Matt Carns himself. Since then, it has expanded to employ sixteen full time staffers. This compact staff sells approximately $7,000,000 annually in medical equipment. Trinity Medical Solutions specializes in creating and selling innovative medical equipment. This includes cosmetic, surgical, and ophthalmic lasers, as well as pain management and high end diagnostic equipment.

The medical equipment is used by many medical professionals, including Chiropractors, General Practitioners, Pain Management Specialists, Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, Neurologists, and Ophthalmologists. When he isn't climbing the commercial summit, Matt Carns likes to watch movies, spend time with family and friends, bicycle, travel, and snow ski.
